Vizil/Human Approval Workflow
Feature deep-dive

Human approval at every step. AI that works for you, not around you.

Vizil is built on a simple rule: nothing enters your brand memory, your strategy, or your content library without your explicit sign-off. The AI analyses, suggests, and drafts. You decide what gets kept.

Why human-in-the-loop

AI gets things wrong. Your brand can't afford that.

AI models hallucinate. They misread tone. They occasionally get your competitive positioning backwards. An AI that auto-publishes or auto-applies without review is one that can quietly damage your brand while you're not looking.

Vizil's approval workflow isn't a formality — it's the product's core design. Every output is held until you review it. You're not just an observer; you're the decision-maker at every step. The AI handles the analysis and drafting. You handle the judgement.

This is also why we reject the idea of an "auto-approve threshold." Even a 95% confidence score means 1 in 20 outputs is wrong. For brand content, that's not acceptable.

Approve as-is

The output is stored and the pipeline continues. Brand context saved, priorities queued, content ready to publish.

Edit inline and approve

Change what the AI got wrong — rewrite a priority, adjust the tone, correct a factual error — then approve. Your edits are version-tracked.

Reject with notes

Tell the agent what's wrong. It revises using your feedback and resubmits — up to three rounds before stopping for manual input.

Where the gates are

Two mandatory approval points in every pipeline run.

The gates aren't optional, and they aren't a warning dialog. They're hard stops — the pipeline literally pauses and waits.

Gate 1 — Brand Context

Review your extracted brand memory before any analysis runs.

After crawling your site and researching competitors, Vizil surfaces its understanding of your brand: tone of voice, target audience, differentiators, competitor names, primary keywords.

If the brand context is wrong, every downstream output will be wrong. This gate exists to catch misunderstandings before they compound. Edit any field directly in the approval panel, then approve.

What's reviewed at Gate 1

  • Brand name, website, industry category
  • Tone of voice and key brand phrases
  • Target audience segments
  • Unique value propositions
  • Competitor names and positioning
  • Primary keywords and content themes

Gate 2 — CMO Priorities

Review your ranked strategy before it generates the action queue.

After the full audit, Vizil generates 5 ranked CMO priorities — each with a channel, specific action, expected outcome, timeframe, and rationale. The action queue is not generated until you approve these.

You can reorder priorities, reject a priority you disagree with (the agent will regenerate it with your notes), or edit the rationale and expected outcomes directly before approving.

What's reviewed at Gate 2

  • 5 ranked CMO priorities
  • Channel assignment (SEO / Content / GEO / Social)
  • Specific action description
  • Expected outcome and timeframe
  • Strategic rationale for each priority
Content drafts

Every generated draft waits for your review too.

When you generate a content draft — blog post, LinkedIn post, email, or any of the 8 formats — it lands in a review state. You read it, judge it, and decide.

Approve → "Copy for publishing"

One click copies the formatted draft — body + hashtags, or numbered tweets, or subject + body — ready to paste into your publishing tool.

Edit inline

Click the pencil icon, edit the body directly in a textarea, save — then approve. Common for fixing a specific sentence or adjusting tone.

Reject and regenerate

Rejected drafts are dimmed and kept for reference. "Generate another" opens the specialist agent selector to try a different format or tone.
